StudioWAY is a forward-thinking engineering consultancy with a passion for the built environment. Specialising in traffic engineering, transport planning and waste management, we are committed to creating sustainable, efficient and liveable cities and places. Serving both the private and public sectors, our mission is to offer practical, technically sound advice while embracing creativity and innovation.

Jarrod gained his Bachelor Engineering (Civil) from Monash University in 2005, and has since gone on to gain substantial consulting experience at some of Melbourne’s leading specialist firms, as well as gaining an appreciation for local government from his early secondments at the City of Glen Eira.
With extensive technical competence across a wide range of areas and a deep understanding of statutory processes, codes and authority requirements, Jarrod ensures that every project adheres to the highest standards.
A passionate advocate for the built environment, Jarrod is dedicated to improving the public realm and enhancing road safety for all users. His collaborative approach to working with multi-disciplinary teams fosters innovation, ensuring that every solution is both creative and effective.
Driven by a commitment to quality, value, and practicality, and combined with a relentless pursuit of solutions, Jarrod is always focused on delivering the best possible outcomes that exceed client expectations.
Outside of work, he enjoys golf, fishing, and watching his two sons’ cricket, soccer, and football adventures. Jarrod also has a passion for cars, and when he’s not tinkering in the garage, you’ll often find him at track days around Victoria – or following the Hawks whenever they’re in action.

Transport Engineer
Nik Asimoudis
Nik is a qualified Transport Engineer with experience delivering traffic and transport outcomes on large-scale infrastructure projects, including work for the Department of Transport and Planning, North East Link, and Suburban Rail Loop. His project experience spans traffic impact assessments, integrated transport and traffic management plans, corridor strategies, and swept path analysis, undertaken in accordance with Austroads guidelines and Australian Standards.
He possesses strong technical capability in key industry software, including AutoCAD, AutoTURN, SIDRA, and GIS.
Nikolas combines technical proficiency with practical experience, enabling him to provide clear and reliable advice to clients. His skills and experience ensure he can contribute effectively to the successful delivery of complex traffic engineering projects.
Away from the desk, he’s all about good tunes, great food, staying active, following the Tigers – and winning the occasional pickleball match.

Cadet Engineer
Aston Askew
Aston is a Cadet Engineer at StudioWAY and is currently completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering at RMIT University. He carries out a range of design and assessment tasks, contributing to various projects across the public and private sectors.
Aston is proficient in AutoCAD and swept path analysis, with hands-on experience in preparing layouts that meet relevant design standards. He brings a practical, problem-solving mindset to each project, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficient design solutions.
Outside of work, Aston plays professional soccer, is a passionate Arsenal supporter, and is a fierce competitor in office table tennis.
Office Assistant
Jessica Dai
Jessica is a Project Assistant at StudioWAY, providing vital support to the engineering team across a range of project and administrative tasks. She plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by managing documentation, tracking project deadlines, and assisting with project coordination.
Jessica’s organised and proactive approach helps the engineering team work more efficiently, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality technical outcomes while she ensures the supporting processes are efficient and reliable.
Away from work, Jessica is completing her studies at Monash University and enjoys dancing and reading in her spare time.
